If you are looking to keep your current heating system, but want to save the environment and energy, you can turn on your ceiling fan to run clockwise to push the warm air down. You can also install heat-resistant reflectors between the radiator and the wall. To save costs on cooling your house which accounts for 11% of your home’s energy use, make sure to use your ceiling fans with your air conditioner which will allow you to raise your thermostat 4 degrees and you will still be comfortable.
